Episode 14 of Unfinished London - WATCH NOW!

Evening all!

It is my pleasure and my duty to reveal for you all... THIS… the latest episode of Unfinished London - all about the Tube Map!

By the way, this was nearly an episode of Map Men, since it was all about a map, but when I finished writing it, and realised that I’d waffled on for about 25 minutes, and it was going to have to be split into two episodes, and I’d completely forgotten to give any lines to Mark, I decided instead to make it a pair of Unfinished Londons.

And you get to watch it before anyone else because you’re unbelievably wonderful, and I’m very very VERY grateful indeed for your continued support!

As has become a tradition here on Patreon you are more than welcome (encouraged, even) to point out any massive errors I’ve made that can be fixed in the next 24 hours before I let anybody else watch it. Stuff like music being too loud, or graphics being wonky, or spelling being wrong, or facts being completely false, or me having a terrible haircut, etc etc.

The second half of this episode is coming, hopefully very soon indeed, and you will of course get to see that before anyone else does too.

Many again thanks indeed and keep an eye out for the super special extra something from this episode that only Patreon patrons get to see…

Bye for now!

Jay

Congrats for spawning, the Foreman lineage marches on and on!!

Michael Hallack

we definitely need to see outtakes of Geoff Marshall cracking up because I KNOW he had to at least once.

What's the name of the background music that plays at 6:44?

Azou

Hmm... yeah... I think he should start a YouTube channel or something, he's just got the right face for it

Cool. I’ll give it a look. 😉

Geoff Marshall

That Frank Pick looks very familiar lol

"this was the first map to show just the lines - no landmarks" - except for the river?

Phil Johnston

Has anyone told Geoff Marshall that there is a new YouTube video about trains, he might be interested?

RIP the legs of 22yo me, at the golden age of Nokia 3310, first time in London (or anywhere abroad by myself for the first time) thinking if two dots are close to each other on the map it can't be more than 5 minutes walk away. I was trying to save an "unnecessary" one stop ride. Wish I could remember from which station to which, so I can check how long the walk ended up being

I just love the amount of little jokes everywhere in your videos. "What is the story behind this map?" *looks at back side of the map*

A significant portion is distant from maps enough that I believe Mark will forgive you for your omission. (Pick certainly looks like a certain London celebrity today!)

Jay you're the best and congratulations!
