New episode of Map Men

Hello one and all… especially all…

I am here to announce the uploading of a brand new episode of Map Men. As per tradition, you guys - my very favourite people of all - get to see it before anyone else. And as per also tradition, you are welcome and encouraged to see if you can spot any errors, omissions, glitches or punctuation mistakes etc before I unleash it on the riffraff tomorrow. I’ve got a feeling in my bones that you guys might be particularly helpful on this episode, as it’s an episode all about the Internet, and most people know more about the Internet than I do. (I still do my social media posts using the Yellow Pages.)

As prophesied, this episode has come after a longer gap than usual. And the reason, which you might already know if you follow me on twitter or live in my house, is that I have very excitingly just become daddy to yet a second baby! (This keeps happening, doesn’t it?) He’s really good, and we really like him and my wife is amazing! Beaming smiley face emoji.

The reason this is relevant is, if any of you have tried editing an episode Map Men with one arm, and looking after two babies with the other arm, you’ll know how long it takes. With this in mind, bear in mind, there’s going to be an even longer gap before the next episode. I do sincerely apologise for not having as much juicy content as you might expect having literally paid for it, but I hope on this occasion you’ll understand why I’ve put my priorities the way round I have. And I expect if any of you were in exactly the same situation, you’d put your priorities the same way round.

But don’t worry! Normal monthly Map Men service should resume from about February 2024 when my kids both get jobs. And the upshot is, one of our upcoming episodes will find itself more topical. More on that developing story later.

Oh! Another fun fact! Two of you, it turns out, have exactly the same name. I checked on Patreon, and it’s definitely two different accounts. So, have a look through the names at the end of the video, and see if you can spot yourself twice. If so, get in touch, and I’ll put you in touch with your namesake. Maybe the two of you can get together and play pranks on people, or something like that.
