FurryCamp Stable 0.30
Added 2024-01-23 15:51:22 +0000 UTCAlright, after a VERY long time fixing bugs and performance problems, we've finally come to a stable release since the past untested version and gosh it's been a lot.
We can finally move with the game and finish working on the NPC AI and player interaction before we can start working on the night threats and more of the survival elements.
For now, this is a way more stable release with a few new features worth taking a look.
Changelog:
Features:
- Added paw pads to furries
- Added options to show/hide FPS counter in the settings menu
- Added optins to control mouse/controller sensitivity in the settings menu
- Added some more sex noises for the other animations
- Complete reworked the jiggle bone code so performance shouldn't drop anymore when multiple characters are too close to the player
- Enabled hair physics (might not be perfect)
- Added mouse wheel to change hotbar items (Rotating objects before placing in the world are now temporarily done with R)
- Added Volumetric fog, visually no difference for now since it's only distance volumetric fog
- Added missing gravity effect on the balls physics
- Reworked the biome a little, most noticeable change is grass's changed color and casted shadow
Bug fixes
- Fixed mouth not working on oral animations
- Fixed random stutters after certain distance traveled
- Fixed water edge artifacts
- Fixed issues with camera movement being different on different FPS
- Fixed a jitter and snap on the camera during sex options
- Fixed issues with LODs changing real time not being registed unless reopening the game
- Temporarily rolled back the physics engine to the default one since it's been more stable compared to current release
Performance improvements
- Animation LODs
- Changed how opacity dithering was handled per object
- The save procedure has been reworked so saving new characters stutter for a way smaller period (can't get rid of it entirely for now)
- Moved part of the world creation code to a lower level language, so starting a new world should take WAY less time now
Known bugs:
- Trees are showing prompts while not holding the axe
- You can place tents on water or mountain
