This is a fun season, and it's also nowhere near as good as this show actually gets. It's the first season with all the growing pains of being the first, so if you enjoy it, then you are in for an absolute treat with future seasons!

No spoilers, but the first season is kind of like Joss getting to finish what he started with the movie, so S2 really kicks off the show... but you'll get some important foundational info in these first 12.

It wasn't something I watched regularly back then, but I enjoyed it whenever I came across an episode on tv, so I haven't watched it all from start to finish like diehard fans, but it will be nice to watch it with you from the start and onward, now I can really do so.
