Added 2025-06-18 23:55:53 +0000 UTCAgain, it wouldn't surprise me if I wind up re-arranging the sections into different chapters when I go back and start my first set of revisions, but for now I'm just trying to get the first draft down.
If you read the original set of chapters when I first started spitballing book 3 ideas, some of what you're seeing in the first part of this chapter is essentially laying the groundwork for some ideas I used there.
There's also a section with Rose. I feel like I still haven't really started to scratch the surface of her as a character. She's interesting to me as a writer because she gives me a chance to explore some of the Nature vs Will dichotomy I set up in my setting in a somewhat more subtle way than Tzila, and I'm looking forward to seeing where that takes me.
