For the sake of flow and chapter length, Ken shall be reacting in a flashback at the beginning of the next chapter to this new occurrence. Tidied some of the old work up too.

2023-01-29 12:51:58 +0000 UTCIt's a tricky balance of keeping character integrity without the story just being nothing but tortuous for Ken. There are some arcs that the characters are going through to help with this at the moment. Emily is feeling guilt for the first time in her life and wants to help Ken, which is actually coming from a genuine place. Though there is the argument for her doing it selfishly as she has fallen for Ken. Ken is... fairly static, but becoming less trusting of a variety of things, including people. He's and oblivious guy, but is turning into a more thinking perceptive person. And a girl. Lola is perverted at heart, never being able to explore the sexual side of herself until now due to self-doubt and worries about her own image. Katy is... well, spoiler territory. Tim and Aran will be static. From a storyteller's perspective, this is for ease, but they honestly don't particularly need to be dynamic characters. I'm glad you're enjoying it still. There's a ways to go until the end yet.
