Hivemind(ed) Summary & Belated Happy New Year!

Hey everyone, sorry for the silence, this Christmas period hasn't been a great one. I've needed to take a step back whilst also working on everything. Now there's a contradiction for you...

Not going to sugar-coat it, this part of HiveMind(ed) I have absolutely despised. I've had to write and rewrite to make sure that I didn't present work that'd easily be considered a spoiler for the plot. Even now I'm uncertain as to whether I have divulged too much or perhaps too little.

This should satisfy a majority of questions for now. I can't make things any clearer until the plot dictates. Just know that 'Queening Ceremony' is bad for the MC, I guess. :/

Next work that I do I'm leaving the mystery out and just delivering a much simpler concept that integrates into a story more smoothly.

Now it's getting the last of the characters for the college arc done.

I hope you all enjoyed a good holiday season, I'll be catching up on messages Monday.

Ah... the fun of that ONE section that just comes out of your mind as smoothly as solid concrete I get those. Had one that screwed with me for a couple months last year in Between Happy to see you, Mass! Hope it calms down on that front for you a little

I enjoyed the mystery, for what its worth. I think all my assumptions and guesses have borne out so far, and I have more guesses for what has not been revealed yet. I think mystery makes the wait quite a bit more tolerable, because I can create my own fancies in my imagination of where the story may go, something that ends as soon as an avenue for the story to go in is closed. It is a weird duality where I desperately want to keep getting new content, and I can be in that mode for months, but then when a work concludes I go "anyway" and move on to something new. One of the advantages of being forced to track a work in real time rather than have it all available so you can binge it in a single go.
