This is the third collection of our lore deep dives covering AOTC. We've decided to split work between narrative and technical sections.

There's almost certainly a relationship as far as inspiration is concerned. As for lore, the New Essential Guide to Alien Species suggests the Clawdites might not have existed in 4000 BBY.

2024-11-17 20:53:22 +0000 UTCThere very likely is, as KOTOR II had a pretty short development time frame the devs took inspiration from a lot of "old" LucasFilm art work/concept art as to make designing things like armor easier and faster by already taking heavy inspiration from the existing designs.
