To Build a Home

The place where two roof lines were joined to create a whole home. It’s been 8 long years of building our solar powered ranch. This is the last big project for us and this space. One final chapter closing swiftly on a home for us to dwell in. We started this in May with a due date of July 1 and with the emergency aid of some amazing builders we prepare to say farewell to our life as we know it and move forward with all the things we are passionate about. We’re ready to release our next album or two or three and find happiness and each other again. The crumbling islands of my soul can be rebuilt, resurrected and reborn into something new and better equipped. The ones that no longer serve me will serve as rubble for the foundations. It was cathartic and messy for sure! Feels good to close the book on this one for everyone involved. The builders are off to construct one of the largest most complex projects going on in the Valley right now, just the first among many to come. Our home/ranch project was a good long read and we are ready to embark on a journey to find a new novel or maybe epic series.
