Sooo... Once upon a time...
A, say about 20, boy was constantly looking for drawn porn, cause of course he was (He was an about 20 boy). He had a vivid interest in drawn porn, being an aspiring artist himself and, thus, he ended up finding a site in which not only japanese professional artists scans were posted, but people would make arts and post them themselves. This stirred our boy's curiosity. So yaoi (cause that was what he looked for the most at the time) wasn't only for people to publish them and sell them in Tokyo stores, but just about anyone could have a go at it?!
It took a while. But this boy started studying art and, at some point, the obvious question popped into his mind: Why not me?
Why wouldn't I have a go at it and draw the kind of drawings I'd like to see.
And so, under the super classy name of GB1984, in a site called Y!Gallery (the old one, of course) he posted his first ever lewd picture, of which there are no known copies I'm afraid. Although not much is lost, believe me...
But more importantly. He got his first comments. And oh that was a rush if there ever was one. People claiming they liked the lewds you've made? Not only no more hiding in the shadows looking for drawn tied up boys going to town, but being praised for creating them... That day something changed in that boy's life. Forever.
Soon he wanted to tell more than what can be told in a single picture. And the very first sequence of this artist came to life. Not a smidge of preplanning went into this. This was created in the midst of the moment. And that brought a couple lessons.
Let's take a peek, shall we?
It's funny to see this with the perspective of time. Leaning too heavily on the lack of consent for my taste, but you can tell a particular liking for super restrictive bondage, humiliating exposure and heavy gear+rigs.
So... Stuff was learned with these. First, sequences are hard. They require a level of commitment to keep consistency, they are a lot of work to finish... But... Oh they make numbers! In one day his popularity "skyrocketed" (perspective please...XD). SO MANY comments on how much people enjoyed it. And our boy could tell why. Making this was a blast!! Turns out when you do sequential works you can tell whole stories and add all sorts of funky details.
The next step was kindda obvious. He HAD to do a comic. That was what he entered art-school for after all. This time it'll require planning. Some sort of script. A somewhat improvised but very real storyboard... The whole thing.
As our young artist was living with his parents at the time, this would require finding the right moment to do the bidding. And the time came. He had 4 days to do the whole thing. 13 pages. Sure it would be easy...
It's hard to explain what happened during those 4 days. The sheer madness of it all.
For starters, the drawing was made and inked on paper and then shaded and "colored" digitally with a Wacom Graphire. But the drawings were made as single panels, then scanned, then shaded and then merged in PS. Then the panel borders and vignette, plus the bubbles and texts were added. All in a 18 hours a day frenzy which, I must add, were constantly interrupted. Something about putting together this story that showcased so many of his kinks, and bringing it to life, stirred something in the artist that only a young body can keep up with. Nuff said he had to stop several times a day to take care of specific matters that were making it difficult for him to focus. Of course it wasn't finished in time, but more than enough was done that it could be finished in late night rushes... :P
The result? Weirdly underwhelimg on the technical department, but oddly satisfying overall. There's something weird about having a finished thing you can show for the first time. So much time put into it and finally seeing it as a whole. But guess we can judge ourselves:
The artist went so far as to tease on how the story might continue:
The story is straightforward as it gets, but I guess we can see a couple of things on it already. Fist the deep dive in con-non-con. That blurry line in which there's consent, but it derives more from a situation in which the character can't get out of it any more. Plus the physiological and undeniable admission of liking it. That bonus teaser page also speaks on how much the artist loves when the dommy gets dommed (and how, to that effect, there has to be a higher dom of sorts).
But yeah, again. Lessons were learned. First and foremost... Making comics is HARD WORK. I think it's impossible to explain how much work creating a comic is unless you have tried it yourself. So you'll have to trust me and every other artist who has dabbled into the matter ever. It's an absurdly amount of work and it's extremely hard to keep up with it.
And that's the main reason there isn't more sequential stuff from this artist.
Or is it...?
Cause lots of stuff happened at that time, lots of other artists and art admirers were met. Some of those friendships lasted to this day. BUT... something happened later. At some point he kindda retired.
Something about drawing these lewd pics made him feel shame, or something about leading two lifes... At that time he was starting his career as a professional artist and the fear of the NSFW stuff leaking into the SFW side of things put him off. So he vanished. It wasn't sudden as it sounds but close. And not a word on how or why to his friends or admirers.
But he couldn't stay out of it for too long. Eventually the itch for drawing boyz got him. But this time he didn't wanna came as a hardcore artist but more of a wholesome one. So he started drawing SFW lovey dovey DC boys fanart under a whole different name. But lovey dovey eventually led to petting... And petting eventually led to some snu snu... And you can only deny your true nature for so long. So came back to his old GB1984 name. This time bringing an OC to the table that would solve where the G from his name comes from.
But also at this time he got back in contact with an old friend, who happened to be working on some Naruto fics at the time. This led to some funny fanarts (I guess this is a matter for another day...) but above all. It led to a whole comic thing!
This time he had learned his lesson. Nothing too long. Make it short and to the point.
Once again it would be done in traditional media, but this time the whole page composition would be drawn as is and only the panel borders and the texts would be added digitally.
And thus it came to be one of the more widespread works (what with being fanart and all) that very few can trace back to the artist. This time with a Naruto x Konohamaru story:
This is the one I have more often found laying around in forgotten NaruKono threads in the widespread internet.
Looking at it now... Some panels kindda hold quite well for how old the whole thing is. But it's definitely a tad too forward. But that was kindda the point.
At any rate, this artist found about this time that people was posting this kind of things (usually censored) at the biggest art site at the time, DeviantArt. And he thought: I shall do that too.
But this time, he would bring forward his dominant persona. He would create an OC that would be his avatar.
And so he would started going by the name of Lord Black (OH THE PLOT TWIST!!!).
And there he met Argrim and CirQ and LordDragonMaster and he made a Tumblr and... And actually a lot of stuff happened since. I think it's fair to bring forth a comic from this time thou. So here... CirQ made an art contest once and he went something like "whoever wins will have me". So I wouldn't allow any chances of anyone touching my stuff:
And this is pretty much the story of my relation with sequential artworks. Of course I've done a few more over the years, but I wanted to share with you the really old ones most people won't know about.

And now it's the time for you people to make a decision:
Can't make any promises, specially on time frames. But would definitely love to take a look at some of these old works from the perspective and with the tools I have nowadays.
So, any ideas?

As a bonus, have some other stupid old works from when I first started drawing lewds. This first one I think is the second lewd pic I ever drew:
This one was based on the idea of a wrestling match in which the objective is to inmobilize the oponent. It would end when one of the boys is unable to defend himself anymore so the winner can have his way on the loser. ^^
-Something from my DC fanart times (wow that Bart looks alien... XD)
Oh, as a final coment, I apologize for the quality of these. Most of this pics' originals are long long gone and I rely on the kindness of people who, at that time, saved them to get ahold of them. So if you happen to have higher res versions of these or any other stupid old pictures of mine, I would be most grateful if you would share them.
And, as always, thanks a lot for supporting me and my arts. It really means a lot! ^^
