Project Diary #4: Of very little progress

Ok, I won't beat around the bushes... I haven't been able to progress much. T_T
In my defense I'll say it's due to some health issues. Being unhealthy is an awful awful thing, and right now there's health issues obstructing me from working on this as much as I would like (which is a lot, TBH...).
So yeah, I basically was just able to finish all the fixes I posted about last week. Ditto:
As you can see, some experiments with shading were done here and there. Looking for the sweet spot where it's not too much but it adds some depth to it. Not sure I'll be able to go all the way there till I'm on the inking process tho.
Also some experiment with the ropework. The whole blank rope shapes works well enough, but sometimes it feels... Insuficient for the now heavily rendered style. So I'm exploring some new venues:
Not sure if I'm all for it. Further research is required.
Aaaaand also I was able to add one extra page to the pencils pool. As you can see, some more shading experimeting was done:
(I like some parts of this one... If I may say so. XD )
And I'm afraid I couldn't go any further this week. I'm quite worried about the health issues. I wouldn't mind half as much if it wasn't so... Art-obstructing. But right now things might go in a couple ways... Basically in not too bad, or maybe FRIGGING BAD, which would be... Well... Bad. T_T
I just need to download myself into a robot arm to be able to draw without my body getting in the friggin way.
