Add Peds OIV Generator - OpenIV possible issue and how to avoid
Added 2020-04-21 16:13:55 +0000 UTCNEVER install a package or edit a file when you have more than one OpenIV running with "Edit mode" enabled, this may cause corrupted files.
For example: If you have OpenIV opened with the "mods\update\update.rpf\common\data" path and you use another OpenIV instance to install a package that edits dlclist.xml file in mods folder, the file can be corrupted and some lines will be erased, it seems to be a bug in actual OpenIV (4.0 or prior). So, close all other OpenIV then use only one instance to install the package :)
So, if your added peds aren't working or the package setup returns a error when installing, this may be the issue. To fix, open the dlclist.xml file in edit mode ("Edit mode" enabled + right click file > Edit) and see if you have the missing lines mentioned in the image of this post:
