this mod stopped working for me straight after installing the watchdogs mod, the game still runs and all other mods such as thor, superman, hulk but i select spider man and suit it then closes the menu and does nothing and when i open the menu and select spider man it just closes. i have re-installed this mod but same problem even when i disable the watchdogs mod through the asi loader.

the web swinging dosent work. when i web swing with the Venom mod the physics are actually realistic where i actually do a real swing with momentum. when i web swing with this mod it just launches me into the air and dose a web zip to 1 place without swinging. please fix.

hi, how can i install the skins you mentioned here? and should the skins that are included in your mod work? in my case both dont work, on first one suit_1 only some normal man skin will load, and the second one suit_SpidermanCivilWar will give infomsg that i need to install the skin theres only a ini and the files i dont know where to put them in openIV - the mod is crashing when using special attacks with web (drone i.e. is working fine) so i think it has something to do with missing skins, or maybe because of old gta 5 version? ok i now found the web model with help of your logfiles Archive: "D:\GTA V\x64g.rpf|levels\gta5\generic\cutsobjects.rpf" it is there, but stil lgame crashes when using some superpower wich have web effects? maybe i could disable any effect?

Okay I think I may have found out what went wrong: When I download the latest version of the mod and started the oiv package, I looked at what files will be replaced and compared it to the models given in the ini file. And I discovered that in the oiv the model "p_t_shirt_pile_s" (sWebModelForPed) is missing from the package. So the model for webbing peds doesen't exist in this version, so that it's impossible to web peds

Hi, do you now why I might not be able to capture criminals with the webbing or why the webbomb feature doesn't seem to work anymore? I just updatet my game and now it seems that some features aren't visually there anymore. For example: when I try to web an enemy to the floor, the ped makes the move and the sound, but nothing happens, no webbing appears and the enemy is completely unaffected. Interestingly the drones appear and affect the surroundings. Same goes for web swinging and zip lining. It just seems to be the combat based webs

When I use this mod, the animations and physics become quite buggy. When I web swing, usually after the second swing my character becomes static and falls unable to swing. Also when comparing to videos that showcase the mod, my swinging animations look like he’s walking rather than swinging, and sometimes I do the trip animation instead of the flip animations. When I go and fight crime my character takes such a long time to do the attack animations and when I do a combo I either fall out of the world, or fly very high, there is also some large character lag after each attack. Also Web Blossom doesn’t work. Is there a way to fix this.

followed the instructions, still crashed on startup. It's specifically with addonpeds being added to the dlclist. even when I clear my ped selections it's not having it. Other mods in the dlclist work just fine but not addonpeds. idk what else to do. I have the latest version of everything too so i really am lost here.

Julio, what version of GTA are you running and what gameconfig in mods are you using? I've used every version of the gameconfigs on the gta 5 mods site and none of them work for my addonpeds. Is it because I have too many peds installed? It crashes on startup and the only way it doesn't crash is by me removing addonpeds from my dlclist. it should have a text saying what button to press to login with patreon (case you are one), and a text saying what button to press to try the mod for free

Suggestion: If it is not there by default it would be great to have the option to turn on Spiderman "running" by default - I tend to try and run all the time as walking is slow and not having to always press and hold a button would be nice. Thanks

From my testing: I have enabled vehicles parts to be used during spin and it works great - I like the fact it is challenging and not always hitting the target. Something I cannot get to work is spinning vehicles - I tried turning off vehicles parts spin and turning on vehicles spinning in the option. I have no way to make Vehicle spin work at the moment - I tried with keyboard and controller - It did happen randomly I have to say, a few times as I was trying to spin other objects. I can't wait to do it as this is likely the most fun of this amazing mod ;)

Is there a way to disable NIBMods menu when pressing left and right controller shoulders? I think you mentioned some .ini file but could not find it in the spiderman ini file - so when I press both left and right shoulder, it actually swings objects to targets which is great and sometimes I get to swing a vehicle but I cannot reproduce it when I want - do you know exactly how to swing objects or characters with the controller?

First off I'd like to say I love this mod! However as a suggestion, maybe you should have the web not automatically break when you attach a ped/npc to something like a light post for example.

hard to fix if i can't simulate, you need to try to identify the attack or feature that causes the issue, you can press insert to reload scripts instead of reopening the game

When I use the final release sometimes my spidey mod crashes when playing and have to restart GTA 5 to play as Spiderman again so I'm using WIP 5 in the meantime. Could you fix it, pretty please?

maybe you have a copy of x64g.rpf in mods folder, the package replaces files in that rpf file, if there is a copy in mods folder, the copy will be loaded by game

one of the wip versions did that to me. what i did was change to spiderman manually using the addon peds mod, then activate the spiderman mod by selecting "default character" in the suits list. worked for me. after updating to the release version though i no longer have to do that.

before the controller support wasn't set, i made it based on ps4 game, some features are incompatible due to this. i will add simple controller support later. the web swing depends on near buildings, check mod options to disable it

Downloaded the final release today. Cant seem to be able to attach two or more objects together anymore like in the other wip releases? I have always played each version with a controller and before you would click the left thumbstick, hold it down, then select another object and release and it would stick. Also web swinging is different now it just seems to zipline to everything? Not complaining, you do amazing work just wondering if i am missing something or if these changes were intentional. Thanks for all you do! your the best!

I've been testing this out today! The fighting mechanics felt like the PS4 Spiderman! i enjoyed the swinging too! I couldn't use any web shooting abilities in this release like i saw in your video. But I know that will be in the final version. How long left until completed? Thank You

Or you could try and add the option to switch between web slinging and web zipping with the mouse wheel (for example) this way one could get much more efficient through the city

keep in mind that suits released out there may come with .ini file for the Spiderman script made by someone else, so, may not be compatible with mine, you would need to use one of my suits .ini file as base, copy the file and edit the variable "model" and "name"

Important, i love that spiderman can boost himself when pressing bar wall climbing. Thats hot. But the sprint... is super bad. Just make it a little faster? Not like Venom script fast. But fast enough to eventually catch a car. A little little faster
