About the monthly Patron list.

As you know, once a month I post a list of my Patrons on Webtoon and Tapas to show my appreciation for your support. There are a couple of things I wanted to tell you regarding that list!

1) All my current Patrons appear on the list (with the username you chose when you joined Patreon), but I've also enabled a cheap tier (1,5€) whose only reward is to be on the list. It won't give you access to comic pages, but your name will be on the list for as many months as you are a Patron. I made this tier to serve as a tip jar for anyone who can't afford the comic tiers but who want to support my work somehow.

2) This is regarding payments processed through the Apple app store. Apparently, Apple witholds payments for over 70 days (wtf). When I make the Patron list, I take the names from the transaction history document, which is the most accurate way to get everyone who supported me during a specific month (because if I use the relationship manager, it will only show "active" Patrons, meaning that even if you paid for a month, if you already cancelled by the time I check the list, your name will not be on it. Makes 0% sense). If you joined my Patreon through the iOS Patreon app, your payment will be withheld for over 70 days, meaning it will not appear on the list in the transaction history document for that month, and therefore your name will not appear on my Patreon list. But! The good side is that after those 70 days, the transaction will go through and it will then appear on my transaction history document whether you're still a Patron or not, so you will appear on my Patreon list, even if late by two months (=w=;;;

Practical example:

HappyPerson joins my Patreon in January through the iOS app and cancels their subscription in March (3 months of membership). Since their payments will take 70 days to be processed, their membership for January will guarantee they appear on the March Patron list, their membership for February will make them appear on the April Patron list and their membership for March will make them appear on the May Patron list (roughly, since payments are not withheld for 2 months exactly, but 70+ days).

I know this is far from ideal, but there's nothing I can do about it, sadly (TwT) In the end, you will appear on my Patron list for as many months as you have been a member of this Patreon, whether it's on the actual months you supported me or not.

¡Hola a todos!

Como sabéis, una vez al mes publico una lista de mis mecenas en Webtoon y Tapas para mostrar mi agradecimiento por vuestro apoyo. ¡Hay un par de cosas que quería deciros con respecto a esa lista!

1) Todos mis mecenas actuales aparecen en la lista (con el nombre de usuario que elegisteis cuando os unisteis a Patreon), pero también he habilitado un nivel barato (1,5€) cuya única recompensa es estar en la lista. No os dará acceso a las páginas del cómic, pero vuestro nombre estará en la lista durante todos los meses que seáis mecenas. Hice este nivel para que sirviera como bote de propinas para cualquiera que no pueda permitirse los niveles de cómic pero que quiera apoyar mi trabajo de alguna manera.

2) Con respecto a los pagos procesados a través de la tienda de aplicaciones de Apple. Al parecer, Apple retiene los pagos durante más de 70 días (wtf). Cuando hago la lista de mecenas, tomo los nombres del documento del historial de transacciones, que es la forma más precisa de obtener todos los que me apoyaron durante un mes específico (porque si utilizo el relationship manager de Patreon, sólo mostrará los mecenas "activos", lo que significa que incluso si has pagado por un mes, si ya has cancelado en el momento en que yo accedo a la lista, tu nombre no estará en ella. No tiene ningún sentido). Si te uniste a mi Patreon a través de la aplicación de Patreon en iOS, tu pago será retenido por más de 70 días, lo que significa que no aparecerá en la lista del documento con el historial de transacciones para ese mes, y por lo tanto tu nombre no aparecerá en mi lista de mecenas. Pero el lado bueno es que después de esos 70 días, la transacción se liberará y aparecerá en mi historial de transacciones, tanto si sigues siendo mecenas como si no, por lo que aparecerás por fin en mi lista de Patreon, aunque con dos meses de retraso (=w=;;;

Ejemplo práctico:

HappyPerson se une a mi Patreon en enero a través de la aplicación iOS y cancela su suscripción en marzo (3 meses de membresía). Como sus pagos tardarán 70 días en procesarse, su suscripción de enero garantizará que aparezca en la lista de mecenas de marzo, su suscripción de febrero hará que aparezca en la lista de mecenas de abril y su suscripción de marzo hará que aparezca en la lista de mecenas de mayo (aproximadamente, ya que los pagos no se retienen durante 2 meses exactos, sino durante más de 70 días).

Sé que esto está lejos de ser ideal, pero no hay nada que pueda hacer al respecto, por desgracia (TwT) Al final, aparecerás en mi lista de mecenas durante tantos meses como hayas sido miembro de este Patreon, ya sea en los meses reales en los que me apoyaste o no.
