Meet the RopoTeam #1: Salamin

Hey, hey, pimps,

¿How are you all doing? The Ropo Team continues to work tirelessly on the seventh version to release it as soon as possible. Although the new update will come packed with many innovations, unfortunately, we don't have much content to reveal to you... mainly to avoid spoilers.  What we can do, though, is share a bit about ourselves. So you can get to know us better and perhaps connect with Final Orginity in a... deeper way

In this 'series', we will introduce each member of Ropoductions one by one, and we will do it partly by sharing our favorite game charts.

Salamin

We start with Salamin, the oldest member of Ropoductions. He has kept his nickname since he was 10 years old (Salamin means 'silly' in Argentina), and he has matured very little since then. It doesn't matter that he has gotten a bachelor in language and literature... his mind is always dirty.

Salamin began the project as the dialogue writer. However, over time, his work has diversified.

First, he started drawing most of the tilesets (from poop to paintings, passing through broken bottles and penis-themed motifs) and NPCs that you can see throughout Final Orginity. Then, starting from the 3rd update, Salamin moved into the actual game programming, and later (from the fifth version), he also took on the task of translating and adapting the story into English. Currently, he has two/three jobs: on one hand, he is a Spanish language teacher in two different centers, and on the other hand, he is a porn developer at Ropoductions.

Now that the whole team is learning to develop in Godot, Salamin will have to reinvent himself once more to learn something he doesn't fully understand yet: the world of coding. Although he hardly has time for anything else, at least he has two masters in the nearby like Space and CloudNine (PinkFloyd on Discord).

In any case, Salamin spends his entire day thinking about Final Orginity. Sometimes, quite literally. Many problems he encounters in the morning, he solves them at night. And a significant part of the ideas regarding the creation and construction of the world and characters are his.

These are the 25 video games he has thought of for the occasion:

As you can see, many 'serious' games, many indie games, some oldies but goldies and all of them, absolutely all of them, games for children with serious autism problems.

What do you think of all these games? Is Salamin as casual as he claims to be?

Well, that's it for today, my friends. A hug, take care, and see you in the next post,

Ropo
