Q&A (Early 2024 edition)

How's everything going? First of all, if you're not a patron or if you are but haven't read the previous post, I have to wish you a happy new year.
2024 will be a crucial year for Amy. In fact, for the next update, we'll have Amy's first complete sex scene, for which we created a poll. If you're a patron of this channel, you'll be able to decide whether Amy has her first option to lose her virginity with Kylia or Lazlo. Currently, Lazlo is leading by twice the votes. So, if things don't take a drastic turn, we'll see Amy potentially losing her virginity to him sooner than you might think.
But let's get to the important stuff. A few weeks ago, we mentioned that we would release our first Q&A, and here it is for all of you. We plan to release two Q&A per year or something like that. For this post, we tried to gather questions from our various networks and platforms. And here we go. We'll answer 12 questions for this very first time:
1. How large are you planning on making this game/ how long would you say the stories would be? Like is this novela length? Novel ? Or tolstoi? (Marble Clouds, Patreon)
Ropo: As you know, we are ambitious with Final Orginity. It can be said that, more than considering it as a light novel, we see it as a major work in which there is a complete development of the story, as well as of the MC and other characters.
However, we don't want the game to be eternal. Instead, we hope it's more expansive than lengthy. In this aspect, we believe 100% in immersion and replayability to tell a story. In one way or another, we haven't reached the mid-way point yet.
2. What inspired final orginity’s creation? (Marble Clouds, Discord)
Ropo: During the pandemic, Atom began developing NSFW video games. He experienced some success in this venture and encouraged SpaceSandwich and Salamin to start a new project. Intrigued by the idea of creating an erotic video game, with all the creative freedom that entails, we began the development of the story.
From the outset, we had a clear vision of the basics: it would be an RPG Maker game with a corruption theme, set in a medieval fantasy world, and featuring a female protagonist.
As for specific inspirations, we could draw from the manga/anime "Ishuzoku Reviewers" and Terry Pratchett's Discworld novels.
3. Are you drawing influence from other pieces of art? Be it sfw or NSFW stories or sources? (Marble Clouds, Discord)
Atom: For the concepts, one of my perennial influences is the manga Berserk by Kentaro Miura. I also often look at NSFW artists like Baalbuddy or Zone Sama.
Salamin: Personally, I don't have any specific story/artwork as a primary reference (Maybe Warhammer Fantasy?). It's true that I try to imagine how a medieval world can be oppressive for an attractive and innocent girl like Amy. I could say that I do pay attention to real details or historical events, but it's Amy's own story that feeds the content as ideas come to me.
However, in terms of narrative and sotorytelling it is true that I look at games like Pathologic, which tell a very complex story that is explained through gameplay and replayability. Also, there are many other RPGs that tell very good stories with many possibilities like Fallout New Vegas and the recent Baldurs Gate. These games will always be an inspiration.
SpaceSandwich: I think my art style could be described as a product of some inspirations mostly including the Scott Pilgrim comics as well as Panty and Stocking, both clean, expressive and with simple shapes. As for my pixel art, I’m a big fan of retro consoles and computers like the SNES, and a great pixel artist that I always come back to for inspiration is Arne.
4. Was there an inspiration to Amy and/or to her design? (Xerlexer, DIS)
Ropo: The basic ideas for the designs for both Amy and Jenny came partly from Panty and Stocking, with one sister being blonde and the other black haired. Though Atom specially took from Sabrina the Witch as seen in the Archie comics and to a lesser degree Kurenai from Naruto. SpaceSandwich also based her hair on Nia Teppelin from Tengen Toppa.

5. I think I remember you guys mentioning wanting to find a VA, for Amy I presume. Is that still true? (Xerlexer, Discord)
Ropo: I'm not sure if we mentioned it, but Amy has already a voice actress for the SFXs you're already familiar with. She's a friend of ours who collaborated with us by recording the sounds (including moans/orgasmus) for the first version. Over time, we'll probably add sound effects from other voice actors for characters other than Amy. If you were referring to a voice actress who would perform every line for Amy, I would say there's still quite a bit of time before that happens.
6. Will Amy have a demon succubus form in the future story of the game? (ChrisEdrian, Discord)
Ropo: ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°).
7. Will Amy ever leave that city she is rn and visit other locations? (Geo, Discord)
Ropo: Yes, we want to and we have some specific ideas about that. But, to be fair, you’ve only seen circa 50% of St. Polla so far.
8. So far we have the following races : humans, horsemans, dwarfs, orks, elfs (I might missed some). Will we see any more different races? (Geo, Discord)
Ropo: Yes. Final Orginity is intended to be a multi-racial story. For sure we want to bring more content with other races like Orks, Ogres and Horse-people. But we want to also present lizard-men, rat-men and… well, some other species.
9. Will there be a dedicated horseman route or horsemen just cameos? Kinda like Rokas or the other routes that are already in the game. (Ductapeme, F95)
Ropo: Yes, we definitely want to develop a narrative arc focused on the horse people for the future. We would be foolish not to do it. However, this quests-line would appear in late game and will be reserved for those runs with very high corruption.
10. Will we ever be playing from someone else's pov? (Marble Clouds, Discord)
Ropo: Yes, we will.
11. Questionfordevs: what yall do besides making the game (Geo, Discord)
Atom: I consider myself an illustrator and comic creator. Right now, I'm working on one called "The Halflings." I also work as a waiter and am studying to become an explosives security officer.
Salamin: I have a degree in Hispanic Philology and have been teaching Spanish to foreigners for over 7 years. Currently, I am a part-time teacher at a design school, where I teach Spanish to international students. I also collaborate with the family's audiovisual production company, where I write content and scripts for audiovisual projects. To be honest, my main focus at the time is on writing Final Orginity.
SpaceSandwich: I mostly do art and try out making game ideas, messing around with Godot for example (none of these ideas are finished). Other than that I just do nerd stuff like making up characters, languages, palettes, etc… I work on comics from time to time, including the upcoming “The Halflings” where I will be cleaning up the art in digital form.
