Choose the Font of Final Orginity

Hey, hey, everyone,

How's it going? How's life treating you? Here in Ropo City, Salamin has finished the academic year and won't be teaching again until September, so he'll have more time to work on the new Final Orginity v0.3.7 update.

Speaking of the new version, it's almost ready. All the new scenes and new content are in advanced stages of development, and we'll be sharing a post with the release dates very soon.

But today, we’re here for something else. One more time, we want your opinion, dear Patrons

Some of you might know this, and some might not, but one of our lead artist SpaceSandwich’s passions is typography. Space has created dozens of fonts, including the official font for Final Orginity.

This is the currently in use version of the font Brixel.

It had actually been updated recently by Space in an attempt to make it more readable, by adding "Anti-Aliasing" which is a method to give pixel art a smoother look.

But not being entirely convinced by the new "inconsistently chunky" look, Space has recently been experimenting with Salamin's PC to test a new font he’s been working on. This new font is more compact, allowing more characters per text box (And this font could also be edited for readability if considered necessary and if the result isn't messy).

This is Minicode, SpaceSandwich's new font proposal for the next update.

So, we want to know which font you prefer. The original or the new one? Remember, no matter what we decide, we’ll keep working to improve the game in this area. Any changes we make won't be final and can always evolve.
