Welcome to the Ropo-Team, Xerlexer

Hey, hey, people,

How's it going? How's August treating you so far? For us, it's business as usual: working hard every day on the new update Final Orginity 0.4.1 (and let me tell you, we're packing in a lot of exciting stuff!!).

We'll dive into details about the next update in a future progress report. Today, my friends, we have an exciting announcement about a new addition to the Ropo Team. Please welcome the one and only Xerlexer.

XERLEXER

"Heya peeps. I'm the friendly neighborhood degen artist Xer. I love these guys work, and been enjoying it for a while. And now I'm with them! I'm not super experienced with pixel art, but I got some millage with Animation. So I'm hoping to add some flare along with helping pushing this thing along. Thank you for having me!"

If you're in our Discord, you probably know him. Xerlexer joined the Ropoductions server practically from the moment we opened it to the public. From day one, Xer has been an active participant, always positive and friendly, helping other users whenever he can.

His love for the game, even in its very early stages of development, has touched and motivated us to keep going, even during times when feedback was scarce and motivation was hard to find. He created the Amy emotes, the animated Welcome Sticker, our first Final Orginity memes, and several of the most impressive FanArts of Final Orginity.

Over time, Xerlexer became a trusted figure for the Ropoductions team. Communication with him became constant and daily. For several months now, Salamin has joked that he talks to Xerlexer more than his own family or friends. So much so that Xer has taken on the role of tester in recent updates, as the game has become increasingly complex, plus he also offered and wrote pretty much the whole Walkthrough with the help of Salamin . Thanks to him, dozens of bugs and hundreds of typos have been fixed (his being a Texan has helped us a lot with the language aspect).

But those who know him well know that Xerlexer is, above all, an artist. In recent updates, aware of Atom's difficulties in participating in the project, he has offered to create concept art for us. Xer's initiative led to the designs of Amy's parents and several other characters who previously didn't have portraits (many of which we haven't shown you yet!).

For all his work and support, we've decided to invite him to become an official member of the Ropoductions Games Team... and he said yes! Since then, Xer has also joined as a creative mind, always contributing ideas and respecting us and Final Orginity to the fullest.

A few months ago, in a Q&A, SpaceSandwich said that Final Orginity is about the friends we make along the way. While he said it jokingly, there's truth in those words. Xerlexer is a shining example of that, a spiritual warrior who has joined our noble cause. With his support, we will undoubtedly reach greater heights in less time.
