Testing thoughts
Added 2023-04-21 16:01:13 +0000 UTCHey, hey, people,
How's it going? Salamin here once again. Yesterday, a friend came over and played Final Orginity v0.2.5 B at my place. My friend, who hadn't played since the first version of the game, followed the Golden Path and played for 5 hours in a single run. A run that fell short and ended just before seeing any of the events from the fifth update (v0.2.5).
However, he did manage to see all the previous events. And while he was playing, there I was silently accompanying him. As a writer and developer of Final Orginity, watching someone else play gives me valuable information as it approaches a much more real gameplay experience than what I can get playing as a developer.
After so many hours of gameplay, these were my overall conclusions about the current state of the game:
- Although the game looks good, there is still A LOT of room for improvement. There are still scenes and situations that can give more of themselves. We have opened up possibilities that we will need to develop in the future if we want to be consistent with ourselves. Additionally, there are entire events that need a formal rework and/or adjustment.
- For example, all the events related to the Rokas camp (released in v.0.0.8) need small modifications and polishing. Apart from various events at the beginning of the game.
- At the St. Polla gates (the ones from v0.1.3), there are currently the most bugs. Almost all of them are related to interactions with NPCs and the slave suit. We have created a specific switch for this situation, and there are no longer these problems. However, we will continue to check.
- The game needs more erotic mini-events! These are things we will be adding over time. For example, I urgently need at least two events to accompany Amy's story in the southern districts during the first two days in the city (events from v0.2.0).
We will try to fix all of this for the next two versions. For now, we are still working on the Sixth one. Here's a sneaky photo I took of Space while he was drawing one of the scenes for this upcoming update (It's funny because he hates working with MAC!):

Anyway, that's been the weekly report. We remain open and attentive to any bugs and/or aspects of the game that we can improve in the near future. Together, we can achieve the best possible game!
Thank you for reading and see you in the next post,
Ropo.
