Making of Final Orginity v0.4.1 (III): Amy doing push-ups.

Hey, hey, people!

How’s everything going over there? Started the year off on the right foot? We’re keeping busy preparing things for the next version, which is already peeking over the horizon. At the same time, we’ve begun work with the translation team to create an official version of the game in multi-languages.

But today, my friends, we’ll dive into the making of one of the scenes from the previous update: version 0.4.1—better known as the first chapter of Final Orginity's military route. Let’s talk about Amy’s push-ups!

Designing a Military Amy

We already had an armored version of Amy, but this time we wanted to introduce a casual military outfit. This uniform had to be something comfortable for Amy to move around the castle in and, well… let’s just say, comfy and suitable for scenes with the soldiers.

We brainstormed ideas here at Ropoductions, and these are the early drafts by Xerlexer. You can see on the left one of the first ideas: Amy with a ponytail. That ponytail quickly became a must-have feature for this version.

Although the initial design suited Amy really well, SpaceSandwich suggested another approach—a lighter outfit that gave her, ahem, freedom to enjoy a good scene. This updated design was partially inspired by the game Mighty Switch Force.

Setting the Stage for Push-Ups

The concept for this scene came from Xerlexer. Thinking about the types of situations Amy might face during her military service, a classic punishment scenario came to mind. The idea was simple: Amy gets punished and has to do push-ups. Naturally, her, um, generous cleavage would take center stage here.

Xer sketched out the scene and even created a couple of pixelated gifs, one in color, complete with potential dialogue suggestions for the scene.

At Ropoductions, the master of pixel art is SpaceSandwich. His polished touch ensures almost every image or scene in the game meets our standards before launch. This scene was no different—Space refined Xer’s work, adding subtle adjustments based on our guide for Amy’s design.

One change Space made was to adjust the perspective. Instead of regular push-ups, Amy does decline push-ups, with her feet propped on a stool. This position, let’s just say, gives her "assets" a chance to shine even more!

The Fall

The scene needed a dramatic finish, so we decided Amy should collapse after failing to complete her 50 push-ups. Xerlexer initially suggested a fall where Amy lands with her titties forward (Left IMG), but Space proposed tweaking it so she falls directly onto her own boobies (middle IMG).

The final result (IMG of below) shows Amy sprawled on the ground, completely worn out, her… features adding a comedic and eye-catching touch to the moment.

And there you have it! Amy overslept again (she’s such a sleepyhead!) and got punished for it. What does the future hold for her military journey? Will there be more punishments? Only time will tell!
