More people need to talk about the impact of the voucher system too. It mostly benefits white, wealthy, conservative families, but was meant to help less fortunate families who live in areas with inadequate public school access. Tax payers fund the whole thing, but it seems that most of the benefit goes to people who don’t need it plus it is blurring the line of state/church separation as most of these private schools are religious.
