EARLY ACCESS: We Watched The CIA Masterclass So You Don't Have To

Howdy, friends! I hope you've all had a lovely holiday season. We wanted to make sure the whole team was able to take time off for the holidays, so instead of our usual format, this time we're unlocking one of our favorite Patreon exclusive Deprogram episodes! If you haven't checked out the podcast yet, this is a great place to start. Hope you enjoy!

Thank you, your sacrifice comrade :) is well worth my support

Very happy to find this on Means today. Hope you post more of the "Patreon Exclusives" over there. I mean am I the only one that just can't see Patreon as more than just a payment platform? I'll subscribe to toss someone a few bucks but "Patreon exclusive" crap just pisses me off. It's not an entertainment site, it's not a social network, it's a payment platform and I'm not logging in unless I want to modify my payments. (Especially with how much of a pain Patreon's login process is, and their support that would rather blame the user than fix anything.) I'm not here for secret exclusives that are a pain in the ass to access; I'm here to support your regular channels. I'm paying for Means literally just to watch your channel since you aren't on Nebula anymore so I hope that paid platform will get all of the paid content!

Last comment: As you hopefully know, it’s this kind of stuff alongside the failure to win and affect change on the left that people like Hitler have used to convince people towards Fascism and Nazism. Hitler didn’t pitch Nazism as an ideal idealistic position. He said on paper Socialism would be preferable. He said to working class Union equivalent workers that were mostly Socialists that Nazism was the last resort when you try and try to make the Left work and they keep losing, being incoherent, and are unwilling as a movement to do what is needed adequately and successfully to rebuild communities. Now we have a national crisis of community addressed by the book Bowling Alone, Trump just won, he’s about to be inaugurated, and apparently your message to those very people JD Vance is now targeting with his Hillbilly Eulogy book (which IMO is an attempt by him and Thiel at a modern Mein Kampf for the current US situation) is to make fun of those people they’re targeting? WTF?

I like your content, but this stuff was honestly so obnoxious to me even as a Socialist that agrees with you on the actual points you’re making that I stopped watching this 7 minutes in. Also to be clear this is literally the only critique of your stuff I’ve ever given. I’m not one of those people who supports you on Patreon and posts tons of criticism comments. Also to be clear I am a rural working class Socialist in the US.

Anony Mous

As an aside about the hospital worker, you don’t know if that tiny lady at their and her husband if she has a husband go camping and actually use that car together. You’re just making blanket assumptions as an example to again stereotype rural working class people.

Anony Mous

Why make fun of so many rural working class Americans for petty stuff? I don’t disagree that a lot of the people you’re referring to also mostly are Trump supporters, but ultimately the people you’re mocking are the very people socialists in the US need to win over. You’re undermining More Perfect Union’s approach with this stuff.

Anony Mous

People definitely only put camper tops on to look like they're outdoorsy without actually being outdoorsy

I thought this sounded like a fun watch. I couldn't even get through half an hour with the language. Some of it was funny, but there was too much unneeded profanity. Don't watch it with your kids.

Same. The DFW Metroplex is a little less (good) red now. 😢

Where did JT move to? I liked that he was in my awful state with me lol

That’s a genius idea for a video! I’ve had pretty dark thoughts every time those ads pop up. Looking forward to seeing what you’ve done.
