I Want To Hear From You!

Howdy, friends! I'm making a State Of The Channel/Q&A video that's slated for release on the 15th, and I'd love to answer any questions you have about making content, YouTube, life in general, or whatever you're curious about. I'll also be giving you all a little tour of our new "studio" (it's a 12x16 shed lol). So, if you have any questions, drop them in the comments below! I'll try to respond to as many as I can in the upcoming video.

Sad he didn't answer my question

How do you feel about nuance? Obviously, electoralism isn't the way to go, but every single time some minor positive movement in the correct direction happens (like getting Mamdani to run for NYC mayor instead of business as usual), a certain amount of people on r/TheDeprogram (RIP) start friendly fire. Of course, I would prefer Lenin over Mamdani, but do you consider it to be counter-productive? What's your opinion on BadEmpanada conduct outside of the main channel videos?

I find that I am more and more left leaning all of the time BUT the idea of going 'all the way left' is still scary. The history of communism is not particularly good. I suppose I might think of myself as a social democrat (Canadian b.t.w.). I still see how capitalism has done some good, but it has gone way too far. What I am interested in (and sorry if this is in the backlog somewhere) is how retirement works. Both as a perfect socialist world, but also for those during the transition. Yes I know this is a selfish question, as I am at that state of my life. But I have worked hard to accumulate capital so that I can stop working. And I live in a capitalist world, so that money is in the stock market. So, how does retirement planning work? How does a 'normal person' accumulate wealth? Even if the definition of wealth might just mean, having the freedom to stop working and enjoy the fruits of my labor. Or perhaps the question is, obscene wealth is obscene, but how do normal people accumulate independence? (I am honestly not sure if I am even asking these questions properly, but I think you are smart enough to interpret what the heck I am trying to say) ;-)

What do we do? It’s getting pretty rough out there. How do we turn it around? I’m in school for illustration and design in red US and I want to use my passions for good influence. The massive gash between perspective makes this war for humanity intimidating, and also makes me feel like a feather in the tempest. What direction should I put my efforts towards?
