The Painted Wastelands Update
Added 2024-04-04 17:01:05 +0000 UTCThe work continues. Everyday I am swinging the hammer and molding this lump of iron into steel. This book is really weird, I feel like it is weirder than almost anything out there in the OSR world. The thing I could closest compare it to is Ultraviolet Grasslands in terms of tone and art work. If you haven't followed @timmalloyart yet you should, his stuff is amazing. Almost every page of this book has new artwork on it.
Tim and I do a lot of brainstorming, he will throw out ideas to me and say "I dunno, maybe that's too complicated for an RPG." I take that as a personal challenge and find a way to make it work.
We're currently on track to launch this on Kickstarter in Q3. You'll be the first to know when it's ready.
The book is currently 115 pages long, 50,700 words. It's a short novel now!
