Drak here with a Reverich piece!

After we made him, I asked LLama what animal he'd be the most associated with, and my suggestion was the original Reverich (from which the current was cloned from) should be represented by a dog (+ the family house having a dog as it's symbol) while the current Reverich is represented by a wolf.

I wanted this for various reasons, one being I like the concept of taking a dog and breeding it to become a perfect hunter/attack dog/whatever else, but due to man playing god for their selfish desires, it gradually becomes something wild and dangerous, a "wolf" again. Except it wouldn't be a normal wolf, since you can't just reverse breed dogs back into pure wolves. It'd be something else that neither dogs nor wolves would recognize as kin.

And how does this relate to Reverich? Well, he's a man-made clone who's gradually strayed from the original and become his own person, with augmentations making him both dangerous and barely human (he's half giant now as well). The people who made him are unaware they're losing control of him with each iteration, all of it very "frog in boiling water", happening gradually over time where people don't notice (until it's too late!!!)

I chose to convey this in the picture with a conversation between two people where they're talking about the famous hound owned by the lord, but in reality they're talking about Reverich himself.

LLama enjoyed this concept too so we went with it!

This "wolf" that I associate him with is specifically the fairytale type of Big Bad Wolf you see. An evil caricature of wolves, often with black fur, long snouts, hunched backs, warped in a scary but cartoonish way.

I sketched this in an attempt to convey my vision to Llama, cause we're both not that into wolves, except for this specific depiction.
