We started this journey of developing "The lost chapters" exactly a year ago. What started as a "choose your own adventure" style text-based story, somehow blossomed into a massive visual novel. Now please excuse me as I ramble a bit.
Sometimes I wonder if I bit off more than I could chew. I attempted to keep a monthly release schedule, which failed spectacularly. Now I try to push one every two months. I am afraid of a potential scope creep, as there are so much I wish to write, but I have only so much time to design and render.
So, I would take this month off to rein in the plot, cut off some branches, merge some routes back in etc. I also have to visit my family, go skiing with friends; among other things. I am pausing the billing for the upcoming cycle. I should be back working on the next release by Jan 2022.
