Welcome! Whether you're contemplating joining the Patreon DOGGY•U Community, or have just joined in on the fun, this video will give you all the information you need to get started with navigating the resources I have available here on Patreon.
Please note that while I do have a ton of resources available here on the DOGGY•U Patreon, Patreon is not a substitute for a private dog trainer that knows you, your dog, your disability and goals. I am unable to answer private messages about your dog, situation, or training. I am, however, able to answer more general questions that are submitted via the guidelines in this video for live Q&As.
Please watch the video so you get all the important info, but here are a couple important notes:
Live Q&As - All Paid Members: Odd Months (Jan, March, May, etc.)
Deep Dives - Inner Circle Members: Even Months (Feb, April, June etc.)
Inner Circle members are also able to post a question for the live Q&As. Please post your question for the Q&As on the "Call for Questions" post that posts about 5 days prior to the Q&A.

I missed getting my question in for September Q&A and the puppies are due on Sept 21st. And I wasn’t sure if there’s a way to ask this question any other way. I will be getting a Great Dane puppy soon for service dog I can’t decide on a female or male. I will need tor mobility and PTSD. Do you have a preference? I’m a very petite person.

2025-09-09 18:16:33 +0000 UTCHey Susie - I don't have a ton on bracing because I generally don't train it - most people (and their dogs) are better off using durable medical equipment for bracing to avoid pressure on the dog's back. But check you DMs on this app and I'll message you for further info.

I’m pretty sure I’ve checked all the modules and couldn’t find any instruction on that topic. Would you please direct me to where I’d find something on the topic? Thanks.
