The last 5-6 years I was regularly producing art to a schedule, which while helpful in a way it ultimately locked me down to popular showable works to the detriment of my personal growth, experimentation, ability to complete bigger things, and significant guilt-free breaks. For example, I've spent some of the last year sketching models, but I don't feel comfortable sharing those for privacy and quality reasons. So upcoming I may slow down, be irregular, random, or show off WiPs far more than I have previously. I apologise, but I also know many of you have reassured me that it's fine to do so.
I want to make comics, and I have a big project in mind, but I don't want to mess it up due to inexperience and inability because it means a lot to me, so I want to make another first to safely practice. I've mentioned this "Succubus Project" the last few week with the intent to use it to practise every inch of comic production and experiment and create. I think it would be neat to chronicle the process, pressure me to focus, force me to create (and you to endure) scenarios where I have to draw backgrounds and actions and dialogue. Unfortunately, this means less final products and more works in progress. But we get a goofy horny comic out of it.
I apparently have a few uncensored posts in drafts that I can still pull out too, so we might be getting a mix of those and whatever I'm currently doing.
Attached however is my initial tests for the main trio I started a month or two ago: half-succubus, tomboy, and guy. Names and setting are going to be ambiguous trouble, but also assume that Kaede and Shizuka will be side characters here in a Rosencrantz & Guildenstern kinda of way, in addition to others (the archetypes of which I'm still working out). I'll go into story and setting in another post though.
