Video: The Stryker Cavalry Regiment was almost much cooler
Added 2024-02-21 10:02:00 +0000 UTCNew video on a planned but not implemented TO&E for 2d Cavalry Regiment that would've seen it structured like a classic Armored Cavalry Regiment but equipped with Strykers. This is part of the "What They Took From Us" series, as 2d ACR was ultimately converted in an infantry-dominant Stryker Brigade instead.
The video also covers the general doctrinal role of the old ACRs (corps-level reconnaissance and security) with a particular focus on cover missions (the one 2d ACR was conducting during the Gulf War)
