wanted to share this demo track from 2017 that never saw release - i think i dropped it on ampled in the past, so it may be floating around the internet, but i came across it on the hard drive and wanted you to have it. it's a weird time signature due to the original sample dancing between 3/4 and 4/4 (julien baker - vessels) and i think i struggled with finding a structure or arrangement that felt more conventional and therefore palatable. listening back to the original i've got some ideas of how to finish this one... we'll see.

if you're a subscriber to the pneumatic tier, i'll be dropping a sample pack tomorrow. been trying to figure out what i can offer that isn't just another generic trap kit or guitar loops - i'll get around to those too, but i think, if you're like me, you've already got way too many drum sample packs sitting in an unopened folder in your library. i wanted to offer something a bit more unique to my sound or approach, so i'm starting out with the Soma Pulsar-23 to create some interesting drums, textures, drones, noise, etc. and see if i can create some trap-oriented, genre-appropriate, practical 808s.

i'm not the "content creator" type so bear with me. i'm working on documenting the process and editing a video to drop along with the pack showcasing how the samples were made and how to use them in the context of a track. that should be up tomorrow evening, 1/25.
