Progress Update: Pushing past Chapter 16

I hope this message finds you well. Today, I am happy to share a substantial progress update on Chapters 14, 15, and 16.
As you all are aware, recently life threw us a curveball or two, but despite that our work has not only continued but yielded some exciting things.
Here's a snapshot of what we've achieved so far:
- 3 new Chapters, 30 000 words each, adding substantial meat to the story and amounting to roughly six hours of new content.
- 20 new, richly decorated set pieces made specifically to support new plot and increase immersion.
- 15 new characters, fully supported by interactive spritework.
- Over 10 000 lines of code have already been completed, including the backbone integration.
Here's what's in the works for the final polish:
- Roughly 10 000 lines of code remaining.
- 2 meticulously crafted illustrations are underway to augment pivotal scenes - including a much-anticipated bedroom scene. A little hint for the curious ones about the first-person perspective - the large, darkened window in the night version of the bedchamber is there for a compelling reason.
Leaving on this exciting note, and not wanting to keep you in suspense any longer; here are the new links to the most current build in the works at the moment. Bear in mind this is still a WiP.
The final versions will require a few additional weeks to polish and perfect. This will allow us to further enrich the visual novel, which will now be nearly double its original size. I am honestly surprised and thrilled at the volume of content that has been generated despite the hurdles in our path.

2024-06-24 21:49:50 +0000 UTCA bit random but the middle finger was in use in the days of Plato so, not only would Trist "...get the gesture.", but so would the few other wolves, Aldres and Dran, who beg for such abrasive gesturing. Frankly those two deserve far more than being flipped the triple bird, but that's more than enough about Spare Tire and her spineless split-lipped tool.

I will remain a paying member for the foreseeable future as I'm very pleased with both art and plot. It would be a shame for this VN to remain unfinished, keep up the good work! The only single wish I have for the VN is: that MC earns a 3rd name down the road by his actions like every other character and that we are given a choice which name to go by. Either the one we gave, Caelan or the one he earns. It would reflect the parallel states MC was in: the past life, the clueless and innocent life in the shed with Ranok or the one where he matured more then ever before to earn a name.

2023-10-22 15:50:48 +0000 UTCI'm so invested in the story, it rather mirrors that of my life (memory lose and waking up in a forest not included) but it does draw some parallels, so much so I cannot wait for more chapters. I do wish there was an option to romance Vulgar and our dear shaman but I'm just so in love with Ranok that if I had the coin, I'd pay you what ever you asked to have the entire visual novel done by the end of the year!

I can not speak for everyone, but while your story has grasped my heart and will remain one of my favorites. It was a little worrying to think that you were having a lot of life rough patches in a short time. Your VN work is important to a lot of people, but your wellbeing is far more important, both mentally and physically. Don't forget about those around you that care about you, and never be afraid to reach out to your support network. It is during dark times in our lives that our friends and family, and even kind internet strangers, are there to help. Process things at your own speed, and take time for yourself.
