What is Bro-Op?

Nearly one year ago, I typed this up as the Patreon page's summary of Bro-Op. It came from the heart, and it's still accurate today.
I'll be shortening the page summary, but wanted to save this message in some way. Thanks so much for all of your support.

"Hey everybody. Gatsby here.
Sometime in 2012, my friend Chase and I started getting together to play cooperative video games--stuff like Crackdown, Resident Evil 5, and Borderlands 1 & 2. I don't know what it is, but we have a knack for making each other laugh while we play, so we decided to start recording it. At first, these videos were just for our friends to watch, but in February of 2013, we went ahead and made Bro-Op a real, honest-to-god YouTube channel.
Not much changed for a while. We kept putting out Bro-Op videos, but to an audience of little more than our friends and some loyal strangers on the internet. It wasn't until 2015 that we started to really take off, thanks to a little luck, and a game called Starbound.

We've gotten a lot bigger since then, but the number one comment we hear from fans is still 'Why don't you guys have more subscribers?' And the answer is pretty simple: Making videos is hard, but getting people to watch them is SO much harder.
That's where you can help. By supporting us on Patreon, not only can you help us to afford equipment, games, and even advertisement, you also keep us confident, motivated, and happy. I'm gonna be honest--that's more valuable to me.
Bro-Op isn't a let's play, it's not clickbait, and it's more than just a highlight show. Bro-Op is what happens when you take the best parts of gaming with friends and boil it down into a short story. It's the time Chase and I decided to name every alien we saw in Starbound. It's the time Rhett and Ian sailed our steampunk airship right into the side of a mountain. It's the time Huffy and Huh proved that they could never be real life bank robbers. And it's the time Will chewed me out for forgetting my health potions, but for some reason, I just couldn't stop laughing.
Bro-Op is friendship in a bottle, and I appreciate the opportunity to share it with you guys. Thanks again."
