Not sure what to do

I plan to finish the sketches today and this 0.3 demo will be the biggest in terms of art. We are currently at 17 unique artworks, not including any alternatives. It was originally much smaller, but I really don't want to reuse the same art in the same update, and 0.3 is kind of packed in terms of action.

What complicates the situation is that half of the art is not really for erotic scenes. I just decided to add it because I thought you might be interested in seeing the battle scene and not just reading about it. It shows Vallabelle and Durrak interacting, Vallabelle fighting, and also has illustrations for MC's and Durrak's fights.

This demo will take me 2 weeks to make at my current pace, which is already super intense and doesn't leave me any free time. I could also pay a guy from work to help me with illustrations. It will cut down the development time a lot, but it will also drain our funds. Or I can cut down on the non-erotic content as much as possible, but I'm afraid it will make the story less interesting overall.

You are free to suggest your idea for solving the problem too.

Comments

This patreon/game just came out and on his first pole gets 200+ people voting, I would say thats a sign of good faith from all of us invested in the game and hopefully future games from this developer..

I think the real question here isn’t just “should I hire help?” — it’s “what’s the most sustainable move right now?” You already have a base of subscribers, which is great. Now it’s about making the smart choice: • If the budget is there, hiring someone to assist (even just with specific tasks) could help keep the pace without sacrificing quality. • But if the budget isn’t enough yet, then you have two good options:  1. Take more time between updates to keep the quality.  2. Talk openly with us — if you need help, many of us would gladly raise our tier to support that goal. Reading through the comments, I think most people here agree: We want this to last — and we want it to stay true to what makes it special.
