Warden Chapter 1 Revised Pages 46-47

With these pages, I wanted to add more atmosphere and information into the story. From the design of the room, to the sequence of how they entered, and the personality of the exposition could be given that little bit of extra care. Custodian Grace has always been a bombastic slightly unhinged personality. The hedonistic charmer able to make everyone feel slightly off.
So what happened off screen when Grace entered the tomb?
8. Grace enters the tomb and immediately casts 'Detect Magic'
9. An amulet (Warden's amulet of office) is wrapped around the spike in the Prisoner's neck. It is the only object of power - which registers as a high mid-grade artifact. Success! The murals on the wall also point out that this could be the corpse of a space god!
10. Excitedly, she spends most of the time determining whether it is trapped, if there are traps, and everything else.
11. She found nothing. Peeved she spends the next few minutes trying to find normal clues. Determining the warden pulled out one of these spikes, which is giving off a pungent smell
12. She runs some tests on the corpse - magical x-rays - sample collection - stabbings - etc
13. She looks around for some other items of value - gems - gold - those kinds of things. Finding nothing she comes to the conclusion that this is a fake site. She's peeved and wants to take her frustration out.
14. She leaves after coming up with a brilliant plan to get rid of the living body pillow along with her stress.
