The Queen, her sister, and her daughter are being dominated here as a form of humiliation. The Queen is blinded and trained to perform her 'tricks.' The daughter is being shown that they can utterly destroy the authority of the queen, her kingdom, and familial bonds.
This is an act of spite. It shows that the Divinity is not being truthful in saying this is a pure eugenics program. This is about power and dominance.
