The Prisoner find the Warden to be hilarious and the Warden is pleasantly surprised by how caring he is towards her. They are getting along. The fact that he's not a full blown ego-maniac bent on world domination is a plus.
The Prisoner likes to flirt, but the Warden is a bit of a prude. She was a war hero (a general who led front the front not by superior tactics), who lost her arm, became relegated to training recruits, and held a largely dead-end ceremonial role of the Warden. She's seen her share of hero worship, conniving nobles, to isolation, and being the intimidating presence when dealing with prospective courters. By the time she was training recruits, she only had old men retired from active duty and fresh faced recruits to choose from. To say that she is currently unused to attention would be an understatement.
