The other part of these pages were to show why it was so difficult to track the Prisoner. How deep he was within the caves. Like radar, distance and granite hampers magical scrying. Hopefully this underlines how he stayed hidden for so long and why a beacon was necessary.
The spell Prisoner taught the Warden is an astral projection, which relies on fundamentally different that the detection spells being utilized here.
