The Divinity. A showdown at last.
Part of why the Prisoner was surprised was due to operational security. When sending a force against a mind reader, you do not tell your troops the entire battle plan. Insight suspected but did not tell her squad the Divinity would be coming in as backup. Nor did the Divinity tell Insight who she would be coming with. I hope I've drawn the hint well enough to be clear: the snow in front of the cave entrance has been turned into mud.
