Warden Page 457

The last page of the chapter. Aegis starts the countdown as all of the soldiers converge on the Prisoner. A large scale battle is up ahead.

To summarize, Aegis negates the mana around him. Everything but his sword is in pure black and white. The blue color of communication magic is only reflected in the stone walls above him as the ability to see mana is blocked by his presence.

The Revision pages will begin on page 153. The sequence will go on to page 161 and add at least 4 additional pages to include more 'gentlemanly' scenes.

Yes. We will see. I'm looking forward to working on epic fight scenes again.

those are great questions about the hounds and the mana core. I'll go ahead and state that there will be an affect but not as drastic as it would if the magic was outside of a person's body.

The shackles are closer to mana vacuums while Aegis' abilities work as negation.

Heh, our GM's response was "depends on the spell's description". I'm curious about what happens to the hounds when they enter the field. Especially the new ones. What happens to the person's mana core? Also. aren't the Prisoner's shackles also mana negation? Or are they magical in nature and more like mana vacuums?

So the mana tendrils will be useless against him. Probably can't stand up to Prisoner physically but I assume there are gonna be more factors at play.

Ah! Mana-Negation. This reminds me of long role-playing evenings where we discussed whether such an ability could negate a fireball or similar magic. We never came to a solution. One side insisted that the phenomenon had already been created and had now become part of reality, while the other side thought that the necessary energy (mana) would be drained away and it would therefore fizzle out. I'm very curious to see how it will be solved here!
