Ros-Mei - the owl in question asks a good question. I like to think of it as if a modern man went to the time when people were still using spears... and he had a rifle. Its the same thing, his body has been enchanted. He's cheating much like a knight in armor against peasant levies. He's not saying any of this at this moment because he's trying to intimidate them.
