Added 2023-09-29 21:00:00 +0000 UTCI kept redrawing panel 1, each time an improvement. I've seen the process videos of many artists. Endless hours spent refining the same outline until it appears clean and effortless. Mine looks messy in comparison but I am starting to like my own artwork instead of only seeing the mistakes.
The floor glows again, with his feet darkening the mana glow pulsing around him. The shackles are absorbing the mana is is pulsing outwards. The Prisoner is leaking his mana in a tight bubble to the edge of the his optimal zone of mana control. All mages and empowered have one, as I've mentioned in an earlier post. To summarize, the closer the magic is to the body, the easier it is to control. Usually magicians or the empowered do not pump the area around them full of mana. This is how he is holding multiple people in place with only his mind and magic.
Insight thinks this is absurdly wasteful and believes the mana drain would be immense. But he's showing no sign of strain.
