Insight still feels pleasure through her numbing spell. Though what Insight is really trying to do is protect the sanctity of her mind. Spells such as hypnosis or a domination spell would find that while the body would be taken over, her mind would be an observer instead of being corrupted. The deadening of the senses help, but a complete numbness would prevent her from being an effective fighter.
