It would be a curse in the world of Warden or any magical world, as you would be able to see extradimensional being without being able to interact with them. Imagine seeing a ghost that's looking around for prey among the oblivious people around you and it can notice you looking at it? Horrible. The same thing would apply to monsters hiding their true self, all of a sudden you've become something hiding in the background to a liability that must be eliminated. And all of this is IF it works perfectly without any other hallucinogenic effects...
Which... won't happen. The world of Warden-verse is not so kind and stable.

I'll take the compliment. lol. Magic is like a stand in for power. It is addictive. Some have a never ending greed for it to the detriment of everyone around them.

Like, seriously, if the choice is between 'eldritch abominations might explode my skull if I fuck up' and 'the magic in this universe erodes your mind, is addictive, and has a high chance of drawing the attention of awful eldritch abominations or a nation of rape-elves, or both' I'll take the one powered by an actual hell dimension.
