Concepts Ravens

And... we are done with the concepts for the time being. This has been extraordinarily fun for me to expand on the lore. I hope you guys enjoyed it as well. Concepts for the Warden, Aegis, and the Divinity will be posted at pivotal points when the comic is released. I'll put them together into a line up around them. But let's get back to Ravens.

Just like many other people, the elves have stories of heroic last stands, knights charging on an open field, or honorable duels in front of opposing armies. But their true tales, the ones told to children and beloved by all, are their stories of rangers. Of silent warriors, the bravery of slipping past enemy lines, the power in frightening enemies into exhaustion, the dedication required in achieving difficult feats of athleticism, and the skillful expressions of required in dealing death in safety. And so, you have the Ravens.

Raven squads are the equivalent to adventuring parties in D&D. True, everyone involved has picked up skills as a rogue and sorcerer, but the point is that each individual is supposed to specialize. A Raven squad or 'conspiracy' can wreck havoc to enemy lines, destroy supply depots, war assets, and more. They are the special forces of the Elves and every half-elf wants to be one.

The artwork for the poll to add a new race is nearing completion. You've seen these images before but they've been touched up and a few comic pages have been added to aid in the narrative. I'll be posting one image every single day for the next week until the entire set has been posted. It'll be followed by a poll where you readers will be able to vote on the addition of a new race/faction that will debut in book 2.
