Recently read a few books to get a better idea about action. James Harren's Ultramega is hilarious and a great parody of power rangers. It rides the line between epic and silly really well. Thank you Fermielvis and Jose for the suggestions of good fight scenes. Gamon Sakura's Ajin: Demi-Human has an excellent use of still images with minimal blur lines while showing the devastating aftereffects of combat set in the modern world. It is strange to see something so static while being dynamic at the same time. I was also recommended the Savage Sword of Conan particularly the runs with John Bucema, Alfredo Alcalá, Ernie Chan or Gil Kane, particularly those written by Roy Thomas and John Buscema. I will be getting to them soon.

Most of the soldiers are hiding within the entrance tunnels the ones outside are defending. Their attempts were there to prevent it from being blocked in, keeping a space for reinforcements to flood inside.

2025-05-13 03:38:21 +0000 UTCI'm surprised at how few of them there are. I mean the Lady said the word God and you send less than a 100 at him? Since this is a world of kingdoms and subsistence farming, I'm guessing the population in universe isn't all that big. But still are the elves that arrogant or is this group the sacrificial pawns to see how he fights?
