Lore Entry: Dryads
Added 2024-11-20 22:17:03 +0000 UTCDryads are one of the races I plan on putting into the next book! It'll be up for a vote to see a dryad will be a minor character.
In Warden-verse, Dryads were originally a variety of predator of humanity and often had a antagonistic relationship. Now, many types of Dryads are completely domesticated or so they'd like you to think. Dryads are valued in society for feeding on humanity in a renewable way. Sure they'd gain more energy on an individual basis if they completely harvested their food but if they only took just enough for a sip, their food source lines up on their doorsteps and pay them for their nibbles.
