Fall 2022 Programming Update

Howdy Patrons! (Doubling this as a post in case anyone missed the direct message)

As we've mentioned on recent episodes, we've been recording a number of episodes in advance so that Craig can take a few weeks of paternity leave when his baby comes. We have just a few more to record and then we will have enough episodes in The Can to take us all the way through November. How exciting! Not only will Craig get some quality bonding time with his kiddo, Andrew will get some well deserved time to relax after an intense recording schedule.  

First, we want to thank you for your continued support of the show. Without your direct support, we would not have been able to carve out the time necessary to do this. Additionally, your support has made it possible to bring on Meghan Winch, our new Communications Associate, who is helping us part-time with correspondence and show promotion. You'll meet her on an episode in November - she's great!  

Second, we apologize but paternity leave does mean we won't be able to hold a Spooktober Bonus Stream and we won't be running a Patron's Choice poll for November. We'll find a way to make those up to you in some way* once Craig's back, and we thank you for your patience and understanding. GOOSEBUMS episodes will continue monthly as planned, including a bonus November GOOSEBUMS episode on the 2015 Goosebumps film.  

Third, a preview of coming attractions: we are planning another Q&A episode for December. So go ahead and send an email to overduepod@gmail.com with "Q&A" somewhere in the subject line if you have a question you think we can answer! And our next longread project is ready for announcement: SAND BY ME, a podcast about Neil Gaiman's The Sandman (the books, not the show). The first episode should drop in late November for $10+ Patrons, and the series will roll out on the main feed just like our other longread projects.  

As always, we're incredibly grateful to you for listening and for generously supporting the show. We're coming up on TEN YEARS**, and we wouldn't be here with you.
