Ie, the lion feels older and therefore appears older, and thus why Guilleman is starting to age as well, since he's feeling worn out and and older, his physical appearance is starting to reflect that?

2023-11-17 12:13:10 +0000 UTCOne thing to note about primarchs aging is that Perturabo & the Iron Warriors were made to fight the Hrud during the Great Cursade, a horrible alien race that can distort time to age their enemies to death. While his marines died rapidly around him, Perty himself seemed to be fine despite being aged the equivalent of thousands of years. However the aged appearance of the Lion after 10k years in a coma shows that it has at least SOME effect on them.

The primarchs are definetly made custom too but unlike the space marines the custodes arent straight from the emperor or primarchs. They're custom made to specificaly be the best standing guard, meaning they must stand watch for a VERY long time
