Ok, so I did some very scuffed math. And assuming you yeeted a 2018 Ford Focus at the speed of light. That would strike with the force of 10 megatons. That’s over 400 times the bomb dropped on Nagasaki. And the imperium even fucking heavier, why would make the effects even fucking scarier.

As OP as the nova cannon is didn’t it get used against the Necrons in a space battle (can’t remember the book, might have been “The World Engine”?) and the Necrons took it like Piper Perri and kept coming (I’m equal measures of apologetic and unapologetic for this analogy)? I’m also now holding out for the tiers to eventually have a dlc unlock of you guys now, that shit got me howling in my car after the school run!!

2024-04-12 10:07:44 +0000 UTCThe A-10 is undoubtedly the most 40K thing we have. See, the A-10 does not have a gun; The GAU-8 Avenger cannon has a plane. The gun was there and the military was like "Hey, we need a plane that can carry this" so in came Republic. The A-10 is so reliant on the gun for its balance, that the shells are kept as ballast rather than just being ejected when fired. Also, Warthog is a great nickname, but Thunderbolt II is it's actual designated name and, ya know... Imperial Navy Thunderbolt had its inspiration somewhere... I love it.

And the warp has very little biomass inside so I guess they would die slowly. Or maybe feed of the warp but I feel like that would be bad writing
