Oh this Matthew fixation has been going on a little while. I've tentatively started on poking away at the starter ish digital books, finishing the infinite & divine, devistation of baal... I am NOT INTO nurgle aesthetic and you're really starting to sell me on reading the plague wars books, just for the Matthew vibes. I didn't realize that the Gilly hard revive was due to HIM having a seed of faith. The guy who helped burn prospero for worshiping his daddy-o. Who his entire life was violently atheist.

Its odd for me to say that, hating the elder, but I feel oddly connected to that story of his come up. I recently graduated from the fire Academy, and wasn’t as good as I would have liked to be, I got things done on time, I got the right answers, the instructors liked me, but scenarios were difficult. Imagining x or y without being able to see them was difficult, but on the Fire ground I excel. It makes sense when it’s happening and when I know I’m not being evaluated, and i can just do my job. as of this back to school season, I enrolled in an EMT course, and was having the same issues. trying to listen to a dummies pulse or get a blood pressure, having to mime it out and ask the Professor, what’s the BP etc. But that story oddly put it into perspective, especially since going back to the station and trying out some of the evaluations on living volunteers it clicked again. Just a good thing keep in mind i guess, where you are now isn’t where you’re going to be down the line lol
